TAX-FREE WEEKEND - TEXAS
Clothing and footwear are included in the Texas Tax-Free Weekend. Each item needs to be under $100.
If you have questions about if an item is tax-exempt here is the list from the Texas Comptrollers office.
For example - if you buy one shirt valued at $100 it would not be tax-free, but if you bought 2 shirts valued at $50 each they would be tax-free.
